Some journeys begin with a profession. Others begin with a deeply personal experience. For Jyoti Dwivedi, it was motherhood that transformed her life's purpose. A Child Psychologist, ABA Therapist, and mother to both a neurodivergent and a neurotypical child, Jyoti chose to turn one of life's most difficult chapters into a source of hope for countless families.
LiveWabiSabi is honoured to feature her because her story beautifully reflects the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, that our deepest struggles often become the foundation of our greatest purpose. Through empathy, evidence-based care, and unwavering compassion, she reminds women everywhere that life's unexpected turns can lead to extraordinary new beginnings.
Her WabiSabi Life Story
When Jyoti realised that her daughter's developmental journey would be different from what she had once imagined, her world changed overnight. Fear, grief, uncertainty, and countless unanswered questions became part of her everyday life.
But instead of allowing those emotions to define her, she chose something far more powerful, she chose to learn.

Like the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold instead of being hidden, Jyoti transformed what once felt broken into something deeply meaningful. Her personal experience inspired her to become a Child Psychologist and ABA Therapist, equipping herself with the knowledge and compassion needed to support children and families walking similar paths.
Today, she works with both neurotypical and neurodivergent children, offering counselling, ABA therapy, and parent guidance. Her mission is simple yet profound, to help every child reach their fullest potential while reminding every parent that they never have to walk this journey alone.

Her story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the life we never planned becomes the one that changes the lives of many.
Her Daily Dose of SelfLoveShots
For Jyoti, self-love isn't about perfection, it is about self-compassion.
It means accepting that she cannot do everything perfectly. It means protecting her mental well-being, celebrating even the smallest victories, asking for help when needed, and extending the same kindness to herself that she so naturally offers to the families she supports every day.
For her, caring for herself is not selfish—it's what allows her to continue caring for others with empathy and strength.
Her Proudest Moment
While professional achievements are rewarding, Jyoti's proudest moments are measured differently. They arrive when a child speaks their first meaningful word, masters a new life skill, or overcomes a challenge that once seemed impossible.
As the mother of a daughter on the autism spectrum, every new milestone her daughter achieves fills her heart with gratitude and hope. Seeing children grow, learn, and become more independent reminds her why she chose this path.
For Jyoti, there is no greater reward than knowing she has added value to someone's life.

She hopes her journey encourages others to understand that healing isn't about becoming perfect. It is about discovering strength, purpose, and beauty through life's unexpected challenges.
Her Biggest Cheerleader
Jyoti's greatest source of strength has always been her family.
Most of all, her daughter has become her biggest teacher. Through her resilience, determination, and quiet courage, she inspires Jyoti every single day to continue supporting children and families with hope, compassion, and unwavering dedication.
Her Message to Other Women
Life may not follow the path we planned, but it can still become deeply meaningful. Every challenge carries the possibility of growth.
Be patient with yourself, celebrate every small victory, and remember that love, acceptance, and perseverance have the power to transform even the hardest journeys ~ Jyoti Dwivedi
