Geeta Kumari is a nursing officer at AIIMS Delhi, VG Mrs India Warrior, a single mother of three, and a woman who has transformed some of life’s most difficult chapters into a story of resilience, discipline, and self-belief. With an MSc in counselling and family therapy, she combines professional dedication with a deeply spiritual and disciplined lifestyle. Her journey, from spending years attending court dates and fighting for her children to rebuilding herself through fitness, spirituality, music, and sport, is a powerful reminder that a woman can begin again at any age.
LiveWabiSabi Stories celebrates Geeta because her imperfect journey reflects the Wabi Sabi belief that what has been broken can be repaired and shine even more brightly.
Her WabiSabi Life Story
For Geeta, the most broken chapter of her life was not a single moment, but five long years of struggle, attending court dates, fighting for her children’s alimony and going through the process of divorce.
It was a difficult phase, but it did not define her.
Instead, Geeta chose to rebuild.
Like Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold, she turned her wounds into strength and emerged with even more beauty, confidence and purpose.

Today, she works as a nursing officer at AIIMS Delhi while raising three children as a single mother. Her qualifications include an MSc in Counselling and Family Therapy, adding another dimension to her understanding of people, relationships, and emotional well-being.
Her life outside work is equally vibrant. She loves music, playing volleyball, reading spiritual books and watching documentaries. As a spiritual person, she values solitude and follows a disciplined lifestyle. She is vegetarian and conscious about her diet, consciously avoiding sugar, cold drinks and junk food.
Her story is ultimately about choosing thyself, even after life has tested you deeply.
Her Daily Dose of SelfLoveShots
For Geeta, self-love is not simply about feeling good. It is about discipline, consistency and investing in herself every single day.
Her self-love practices include weight training six days a week, 40 minutes of meditation twice a day and following a one-meal-a-day routine.
But her growth doesn't stop with physical well-being.
She continues to learn classical music online, nurtures her spiritual side through meditation and spiritual reading, and participates in AIIMS sports events every year.
Volleyball, fitness, music, solitude, and spirituality have become powerful ways for Geeta to stay connected with herself.

Her version of self-love is simple yet powerful: keep learning, keep moving, keep growing.
Her Proudest Moment
Geeta's proudest moments are those where she has challenged herself and stepped beyond her comfort zone.
Winning gold medals in volleyball and the relay race at AIIMS are among her cherished achievements.
She also proudly remembers walking the ramp at the VG Miss and Mrs India pageant show and being honoured by Mrs Binita Srivastava.
For Geeta, these moments represent much more than awards or recognition. They reflect the woman she has worked hard to become, confident, resilient and unapologetically herself.

Being Part of LiveWabiSabi Stories
For Geeta, being part of LiveWabiSabi Stories is an opportunity to turn her personal journey into a source of hope for others.
She hopes that when her story reaches other women, it will inspire them to uplift themselves, believe in their inner strength, and recognize that a difficult past does not have to determine their future.
Her story reminds us that sometimes our greatest strength is born from the chapters we never wanted to live through.
Her Biggest Cheerleader
Geeta's biggest support system is close to her heart, her sons and her colleagues at her workplace.
Their presence, encouragement and positive impact have helped her continue moving forward through life's challenges.
Behind every strong woman is often a circle of people who remind her that she does not have to carry everything alone.

Her Message to Other Women
Geeta's message is especially powerful for women who may believe they need someone else to validate their strength.
A single mother carries immense power within herself. She does not need a man standing beside her at all times to build a meaningful and fulfilling life.
At any age, a woman can transform herself.
She can choose a healthier lifestyle. She can rediscover an old passion. She can learn something new. She can pursue her dreams. And most importantly, she can choose herself.
Geeta's own life is proof that starting over is not a sign of weakness, it can be the beginning of your strongest chapter.
